We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team in Randburg.
This role supports paid media, content creation, organic social media, reporting, and content strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Marketing Funnels
- Assist in developing and executing content strategies aligned to marketing funnels (TOFU, MOFU, BOFU)
- Map content and campaigns to different stages of the customer journey
- Support the planning of content that drives awareness, engagement, and conversion
Paid Media Execution
- Execute and optimise Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max) campaigns
- Execute and optimise Meta (Facebook and Instagram) paid campaigns
- Conduct keyword research and audience research
- Monitor performance and recommend improvements based on data
Content & Organic Social Media
- Create and schedule organic social content across platforms
- Maintain structured content calendars
- Adapt messaging for different audiences and funnel stages
- Content creation includes videography & photography
- Experience using a DSLR
Community Management
- Monitor comments, messages, and engagement
- Respond professionally and escalate when required
- Maintain consistent brand voice across platforms
Reporting & Insights
- Compile paid and organic performance reports in looker studio
- Analyse campaign performance and identify trends
- Assist in preparing insights for client presentations
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Meta Ads and Google Ads is essential
- Ability to independently manage and optimise paid campaigns
- Strong understanding of marketing funnels and content strategy
- Confident presenting or contributing to presentations shared with CEOs and executives and international businesses
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and reporting platforms
- Relevant qualification in Marketing, Communication, or a related field is preferred
- Own vehicle and drivers license required
